Papoose
Hello Tanya!
I just wanted to give you an update on “Tipper” — formerly Papoose! My husband renamed her Tipper, and she is doing great!
She is so animated! We haven’t had a puppy in the house for almost 15 years, so she is quite entertaining. Her appetite is great and she is a very quick learner! After her first day, she hasn’t had any “accidents” and she sleeps in her kennel until around 2 AM, then she wakes up for a “potty break”. After she is let out, she goes back into her kennel and goes back to sleep until we get up in the morning for work.
She already has a routine in the morning, mostly trying to get more attention than our mini-doxie “Ollie”. He is getting accustomed to her, but she tries to push him away from his food dish, and he doesn’t like that one bit. Tipper likes to grab his tail and pull on it. After a few snarls and growls from Ollie, she lets go and moves on to other points of interest.
Tipper also likes to bark at the sprinklers, and she “helps” me in the garden. She digs up whatever I plant, and when pulling weeds, she takes them and runs around the yard, shaking the roots all over!
She is the sweetest little dog and we are so grateful we were able to adopt her.
Thank you for your work to save this precious little “critters”.
I will send pictures of her next week if I can get her to sit still long enough. I’ve taken a few pictures of her, but she moves just as I snap the picture, so it’s usually her tail or foot that shows up!
Sincerely,
Karen and Tim Madura
