Due to financial reasons we must put Zena up for adoption. She is a very loving and affectionate family dog, who gets along very well with children. She gets along with our two Cats, and is happy to be inside or outside, in fact she enjoys both. She is in fine health, and is happy to lounge around most of the day under a tree or in the living room. Like most animals she does have a fear of thunder and lightening, and will stay close by you in any stormy weather. She is a good watch dog and will sound off if any coyotes, bobcats or noisy chirping ground squirrels come her way. She is not an incessant barker, but will let you know when she is ready to come in. She has a unique look, but is certainly beautiful on the inside. She will make a great companion for any household, and is not picky about her diet, but loves dog biscuits. She loves short walks and to play with the kittens, great dog for a household full of cats(actually the cats win most of the time). So if you have a Alpha cat, the cat will stay in charge :).

 

Tanya's Inc. is committed to keeping all animals we have rescued out of the "kill"shelters.  It is with that in mind that we always take our adopted animals back in spite of the difficulty.
